The bottom line is: We’re committed to protecting your privacy. If you provide us with your name, email address or other personal information, we will hold that information in the strictest confidence. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.
Also, because we’re a resource collective, editorial integrity is really important. We do not accept any advertising on our site, and while it’s completely OK for you to enthusiastically recommend another person’s class or services if you’ve really gotten something out of it, we will not post any member’s promotion of their own services or goods for sale.
Our efforts also encompass fair practices for your creative works. . .
• We require all site users participating in specific areas register with the site and sign a Conditions of Use Agreement. (I know. We said that already. This is just for those of you who skipped ahead.)
• We clearly post the DMCA Notice on our site. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") provides a mechanism for notifying service providers of claims of unauthorized use of copyrighted materials.
• Last, we encourage you to copyright and/or watermark your original work in order to discourage plagiarism.
