As a member of NewGrapefruit, you can help an artist revise or complete their work in progress. Here’s how, in 4 easy steps (oh, and 1 reminder):
1. When you visit an artist’s profile page, you’ll see a line under each work sample that indicates whether they’d like a mentor for that piece (see figure 1 below).
2. If you’d like to mentor the project, click on the "mentor" link to access an email form.
3. Use the email form to introduce yourself as their possible mentor. You’ll need to confirm your profile with them, and you can add any other pertinent info so they can assess you as a mentor. Please note that selecting a mentor (or mentors) is purely at the discretion of the artist.
4. Once that artist says, "heck yes, I’d love your help," both of you can communicate through NewGrapefruit as the project takes shape.
REMINDER: You must be a registered member of NewGrapefruit in order to mentor someone.
