As an active member of NewGrapefruit, you can contribute to the work of others who invite collaboration. Here’s how, in 4 easy steps (and 1 reminder):
1. When you visit an artist’s profile page, you’ll see a line under each work sample that indicates whether they’d like a collaborator or collaborators for that piece (see figure 1 below).
2. If you’d like to work on the project, click the "collaborator" link to see a description of the type of collaboration needed and to access a reply email form.
3. Use the email form to introduce yourself. You’ll need to confirm your profile with them, and you can add any other pertinent info so they can assess you as a candidate for collaboration. Please note that selecting a collaborator (or collaborators) is purely at the discretion of the artist.
4. Once that artist says, "heck yes, I’d love your help," both of you can communicate through NewGrapefruit as the project takes shape.
REMINDER: You must be a registered member of NewGrapefruit in order to collaborate on projects.
