We hope it’s a stimulating, open place where everyone – dabblers, professionals, students, teachers, patrons and the just–plain curious – feels free to try out new and different creative projects. Creative endeavors can be slippery beasts: it’s often a struggle to start them, sustain them, and give ourselves the support and resources needed to bring them to fruition. We designed newGrapeFruit to provide a safe environment for you to take the leap into creativity – whether it’s a new style or project, or whether it’s the first time you’ve tried writing (or painting, or composing)... Please use us as your virtual muse, your support, your playground.

There are places in the site to find like–minded creative people, to ask advice, to try out a work in progress in a safe environment, to collaborate, to simply play. Jump in anywhere, and Juice Your Muse!

Our Mission

Everyone has the ability to be creative. Our mission is to provide the incentive and the resources to help anyone, at any level, explore their creativity. We do this by providing a safe, stimulating environment to try new projects, make new creative connections, and discover resources. An important aspect of our mission is to keep up with the dynamic, changing needs of our community. We count on you to tell us what we can do more, or better. As a community–based, not–for–profit organization, we depend on input from individuals like you to keep going. While we don‘t require a membership fee at present, we encourage all members who use the site to contribute a minimum of $10 annually to help us provide the site and its services to you.
